Pineapple and Turmeric Smoothie
This recipe serves 2.
500mls unsweetened almond milk
1 ½ cups of fresh pineapple (diced into chunks)
2 cm piece of fresh ginger (peeled and chopped)
½ tsp of turmeric powder
½ cup of ice
1 tsp raw honey
Optional – 1 Tbs Vanilla protein powder or 1 frozen banana
Place all ingredients in your blender and blend until smooth.
Pour into a glass and enjoy!
Refrigerate in a sealed jar overnight. Shake before drinking.
If you don’t have pineapple, you can use mango, peaches or banana instead.
