Nori Seed Crackers Recipe, gluten free, grain free, dairy free, paleo, vegan, easy, naturopath recipe

Nori Seed Crackers

Nori Seed Crackers

Crackers are a popular food these days but it’s very difficult to find a packaged cracker that is healthy and free of nasties. Many have artificial additives and are made with seed or vegetable oils.

It’s so easy to make your own! These Nori Seed Crackers are nutrient dense, gluten free, grain free, dairy free and suitable for vegan and paleo diets.

The addition of nori sheets (seaweed) can help boost your iodine levels which is necessary for good thyroid function. Chia seeds are also a favourite of mine as they have so many health benefits!

I hope you enjoy them.

Nori Seed Crackers

Ingredients:

4 Nori Sheets (raw or roasted, crushed)

30g Pumpkin Seeds (raw)

30g Sunflower Seeds (raw)

20g Whole Flax Seeds

25g Chia Seeds

35g Sesame Seeds

4 tablespoons Maple Syrup (or you can use water)

Method:

Preheat oven to 150ÂșC and line a baking tray with baking paper.

Mix all ingredients in a bowl until well combined. Spread the mix onto the parchment paper and gently press down into an even layer. Bake for 45 minutes, rotating the pan about every 15 minutes.

Let the crackers cool completely before cutting into rectangles. Enjoy!

Refrigerate in an airtight container up to 5 days, or freeze if longer.
